  • RTC Maryland Pkwy Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project

    • 4/9
      • Maryland Pkwy around Circle Park, S of Charleston Blvd will have the outside lanes closed with inside lanes open.
      • Starting Feb 9th one lane will remain open in each direction between I-15 and the Railroad underpass.
      • Maryland Pkwy, Russell Rd to Tropicana Ave, Work hours 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. One lane open in each direction during the day. Two lanes open in each direction at night.
      • Maryland Pkwy, Tropicana Ave to Flamingo Rd, two lanes open in each direction between 6:00 am – 2:00 pm.
      • Maryland Pkwy, Flamingo Rd to Desert Inn Rd, Work hours 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. Two lanes open in each direction during the day. One lane open each direction at night.
      • Maryland Pkwy, Desert Inn Rd to Sahara Ave, Work hours 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. Two lanes open in each direction during the day. One lane open in each direction at night.
      • Maryland Pkwy, from Sahara Ave to Franklin, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. One lane open in each direction. Intermittent closures at Oakey Blvd and Maryland Pkwy for traffic signal work, pending coordination with NV Energy.
      • Maryland Pkwy, Bonneville to Carson Ave, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. One lane open in each direction.
      • Carson Ave, Casino Center Blvd to 6th St, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, (longer hours possible) One lane in each direction.
      • Carson Ave, 7th St to 13th St. Work hours 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, one lane open in each direction.
      • Bonneville Ave, Casino Center Blvd to MLK Blvd, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, two lanes open each direction.
      • Alta Dr between MLK Blvd to Tonopah Dr, one lane open in each direction between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm.
      • Tonopah Dr, between Alta Dr and Wellness Way, work hours 5:00 am and 1:00 pm.
      • Wellness Way between Tonopah Dr and Shadow Ln, work hours 5:00 am and 1:00 pm.

113 – Las Vegas Blvd. N.

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound 4th St. after Lewis Ave., turn right onto Bridger Ave., turn left onto Las Vegas Blvd., cross over Carson Ave., and back on regular routing.

119 – Simmons/Koval

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour through 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th: From northbound Rancho Dr. after Washington Ave., continue north across Vegas Dr., cross over Lake Mead Blvd., turn right onto Carey Ave., turn left onto Simmons St., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – 24-hour detour through 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th: From southbound Simmons St. after Citizen Ave., turn right onto Carey Ave., turn left onto Rancho Dr., cross over Vegas Dr., back on regular routing.

206 – Charleston 

  • (EB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From Bonneville Transit Center after departing Bay 12, turn left onto Garces Ave., turn left onto 4th St., turn right onto Bonneville Ave., turn right onto Maryland Pkwy., turn left onto Charleston Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (WB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From westbound Charleston Blvd. after 13th St., turn right onto Maryland Pkwy., turn left onto Clark Ave., turn left onto Casino Center Blvd., turn right onto Garces Ave., turn right into Bonneville Transit Center, back on regular routing.

210 – Lake Mead Blvd

  • (EB) – 24-hour detour through 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th: From eastbound Lake Mead Blvd. after Decatur Blvd., turn right onto Rancho Dr., turn left onto Vegas Dr., turn left onto Tonopah Dr., turn right onto Lake Mead Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (WB) – 24-hour detour through 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th: From westbound Lake Mead Blvd. after Comstock Dr., turn left onto Tonopah Dr., turn right onto Vegas Dr., turn right onto Rancho Dr., turn left onto Lake Mead Blvd., back on regular routing.

214 – H Street/D Street

  • (WB/D St.) –24-hour detour through 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20th: From westbound Carey Ave. after Martin L. King Blvd., turn left onto Comstock Dr., turn left onto Lake Mead Blvd., back on regular routing.

BHX – Boulder Hwy Express

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound Maryland Pkwy. after Fremont St., continue south across Carson Ave., turn right onto Bridger Ave., turn left onto Las Vegas Blvd., turn right onto Clark Ave., cross over Casino Center Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Bonneville Ave. after exiting Bonneville Transit Center, continue across Casino Center Blvd., turn left onto Las Vegas Blvd., turn right onto Bridger Ave., turn left onto 13th St., turn right onto Fremont St., and continue back on regular routing.

Deuce on the Strip

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice:  From northbound Las Vegas Blvd. after Oakey Blvd., veer left onto 4th St. (do not enter the transit/bus lane), continue north on 4th St., turn left onto Gass Ave., turn right onto Casino Center Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound Casino Center Blvd. after Garces Ave., Exit the transit/bus lane, turn right onto Bonneville Ave., turn left onto 4th St., continue north on 4th St. across Carson Ave., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound Las Vegas Blvd. after Fremont St., continue south across Carson Ave., turn right onto Clark Ave., turn left onto Casino Center Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound Casino Center after Garces Ave., turn left onto Gass Ave., turn right onto Las Vegas Blvd., back on regular routing after crossing 4th Street.

Detours in effect on Friday and Saturday, March 20th & 21st, from 9:30 p.m. – 11:59 p.m., each night

Route 119 – Simmons/Koval

  • (NB) – From northbound Koval Ln. after Tompkins Ave., turn right onto Flamingo Rd., turn left onto Paradise Rd., turn left onto Sands/Twain Ave., continue westbound across Koval Ln., and back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – From eastbound Sands Ave. after Las Vegas Blvd., continue eastbound across Koval Ln., turn right onto Paradise Rd., turn right onto Flamingo Rd., turn left onto Koval Ln., and back on regular routing.

Fremont Street Experience St. Paddy’s Day Bash

Detours in effect beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th until 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18th

401 – Downtown Loop

  • (NB) – From eastbound Ogden after City Parkway, turn right onto Main Street, turn left onto Bridger Avenue, turn right onto Casino Center Blvd., back on regular routing.

CX – Centennial Express

  • (SB) – From southbound Casino Center after I-11, turn right onto Stewart Avenue, turn left onto Main Street, turn left onto Bridger Avenue, turn right onto Casino Center Blvd., back on regular routing.
