Las Vegas Boulevard – Resort Corridor (Clark County)

Clark County is working on a 5-year construction project on Las Vegas Boulevard, between Sahara to CC-215. Among the improvements are water mainline replacement, intersection modification for pedestrian crossing, technology upgrades to traffic signal systems and lighting with smart poles. The work is being completed in phases:
- Phase 1 – Sahara Ave. to Spring Mountain Rd.
- Phase 2 – Mandalay Bay to Russell Rd.
- Phase 3 – Spring Mountain Rd. to Flamingo Rd.
- Phase 4 – Flamingo Rd. to Harmon Ave. and Tropicana Ave. to Excalibur/Luxor
- Phase 5 – Harmon Ave. to Tropicana Ave.

I-15 Tropicana Project (NDOT)
End date: End of 2024
The I-15 Tropicana Project, previously referred to as the “I-15 / Tropicana Interchange and Harmon High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Ramp and Hacienda HOV Ramp Project,” is a joint effort project sponsored by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC).
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Clark County Public Works are also key partners in the process providing guidance and review of the study’s work products.
The project includes replacing the existing interchange structures to widen and lengthen the Tropicana Avenue bridge over I-15. Other improvements include the replacement of an existing flyover, addition of HOV ramps, and the separation of through traffic on Dean Martin Drive from the Tropicana Avenue intersection.

Centennial Bowl (NDOT)
End date: Early 2024
In January 2021, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) began work on the $155 million final phase of the Centennial Bowl interchange where U.S. Highway 95 meets the 215 Beltway in northwest Las Vegas. The project will build-out the remaining three ramps needed to finish the system-to-system interchange that first began construction in 2015. Additionally, the northbound U.S. Highway 95 to eastbound 215 Beltway ramp will be widened to two lanes; a half-mile section of the 215 Beltway will be expanded to a six-lane divided freeway; plus a new service interchange at the 215 Beltway and Sky Pointe Drive will be constructed with one way slip ramps to and from Oso Blanca Road, among other improvements.
