The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) began improvements along nearly nine miles of Interstate 15 (I-15) South from Sloan Road to north of Warm Springs Road in January 2024.
The widening of the Tropicana interchange will add capacity, improve accessibility to the Strip and allow for the future widening of 1-15 as the population continues to grow.

The City of Henderson’s Reimagine Boulder Highway is a historic roadway project that aims to make a generational impact by reshaping the future and safety of one of Nevada’s oldest thoroughfares, Boulder Highway.
The project is located along Jones Boulevard from Clark County 215 to Tropicana Avenue. Improvements include road widening and pavement rehabilitation on Jones Boulevard.
This project will construct a new bridge at Peace Way over Clark County 215 and provide roadway rehabilitation on Peace Way from Hualapai Way to Cimarron Road.
Widening I-15 from two lanes in each direction to three between Speedway Boulevard and the Garnet Interchange.
Reconstruction of the CC-215 Beltway will occur between Jones Boulevard and I-15 adding a lane in both directions for a total of five lanes in each direction.
Construction on the Fort Apache Road project began in March of 2024. This project will widen Fort Apache to 2 lanes in each direction with buffered bike lanes and medians.
