Below is a listing of upcoming significant roadway and infrastructure projects that may impact your commutes.

Drivers are encouraged to plan their commutes by checking ahead of time for traffic conditions as well as leaving earlier for their destinations.

Private Development

  • 6/2 and 6/5 to 6/9 – midnight to 10 a.m. – Las Vegas northbound and southbound south of Flamingo, 2 lanes closed.

NDOT I-15/Tropicana project impacts include:

    • 6/1 – 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Harmon eastbound, Jerry Lewis to Aria driveway, 1 lane closed.
    • 6/1 – 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – I-15 southbound, Tropicana to Harmon, 3 lanes open.
    • 6/6 and 6/7 – 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Tropicana, Dean Martin to NYNY CLOSED.
    • Through 6/21 – all day – I-15 northbound, Hacienda to Tropicana, 4 lanes open.
    • Through 6/22 – all day – Tropicana, Dean Martin to Polaris, 2 lanes open.
    • Through to 7/31 – 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Tropicana eastbound, I-15 NB ramps to NYNY, 1 lane closed
    • 1/18 to 6/2024 – all day – I-15 southbound off ramp to Tropicana eastbound, CLOSED.
    • 1/18 to 6/2024 – all day – Tropicana eastbound and westbound, Dean Martin to NYNY Driveway, 2 lanes open
    • Through 10/15 – all day – Tropicana eastbound and westbound, Dean Martin to Polaris, 2 lanes open
    • 1/22 to 9/15 – all day – Tropicana on ramp to I-15 northbound CLOSED
    • 1/18 to 9/15 – all day – I-15 southbound off ramp to Tropicana westbound, CLOSED
    • 1/28 to 9/2023 –all day – I-15 northbound hook ramp to Frank Sinatra, CLOSED

NDOT I-515 Charleston project impacts include:

  • Ongoing – all day – Charleston Boulevard eastbound and westbound between Sandhill/ Honolulu and Sacramento, 2 lanes open.

City of Las Vegas Charleston/Maryland Storm Drain project:

  • Ongoing – Charleston Boulevard between 10th Street and Fremont Street, reduced to 1 lane both eastbound and westbound.

Clark County Resort Corridor project impacts:

  • 6/2 and 6/5 to 6/9 – Midnight to 9 a.m. – Las Vegas Boulevard northbound, Park to Harmon, 1 lane open.
  • 6/1 and 6/4 to 6/8 – 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Las Vegas Boulevard northbound and southbound, Sunset to I-215, 1 lane closed.
  • 6/1 and 6/4 to 6/8 – 10:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Tropicana westbound, Koval to NYNY RTC Bus stop, 2 lanes open.
  • 6/1 and 6/4 to 6/8 – 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Las Vegas Boulevard northbound and southbound, Sunset to Dewey, 1 lane open.
  • 6/1 and 6/4 to 6/8 – 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Sunset eastbound and westbound, east of Las Vegas Boulevard, 2 lanes open

Formula 1 Preparation Project:

  • Through 6/2 at 9 a.m.- Las Vegas Boulevard northbound and southbound, Harmon to Caesars, 1 lane open.
  • Through 6/2 at 12:01 a.m.. – Flamingo Road at Las Vegas Boulevard, CLOSED.
  • 6/4 at 9 p.m. to 6/9 at 9 a.m. – Las Vegas Boulevard, Aria to Bellagio, northbound 1 lane open and southbound 2 lanes open.
  • 6/4 at 9 p.m. to 6/9 at 9 a.m. – Harmon CLOSED at Las Vegas Boulevard.
  • Through June – all day – Koval Lane northbound and southbound, Winnick to Harmon, one lane open.

Clark County Dean Martin project impacts include:

  • 6/1 and 6/4 to 6/8 – 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. – Dean Martin northbound and southbound, Oquendo to south of Tropicana, 1 lane open.

Clark County Sammy Davis Jr project impacts include:

  • 6/1– 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Sammy Davis northbound and southbound, Circus Circus to Sahara, 1 lane open.
  • 6/4 to 6/8 – 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Sammy Davis northbound and southbound, Fashion Show to Genting, 1 lane open.

Clark County Frank Sinatra project impacts include:

  • 6/1 and 6/4 to 6/8 – 11 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Frank Sinatra northbound and southbound, Russell to Reno, 1 lane open.
  • 6/1 – 11 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Frank Sinatra northbound and southbound, Arena to Twain, 1 lane open.
  • 6/4 to 6/8 – 11 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Frank Sinatra northbound, Park to Bellagio, 1 lane open.
  • 6/4 to 6/8 – 11 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. – Frank Sinatra northbound, Caesars to Twain, 1 lane open.

NDOT I-15 Widening Project

  • Ongoing – all day – Speedway under I-15 possible lane reduction.
  • Ongoing – all day – Las Vegas Boulevard under I-15 possible lane reduction
  • Ongoing – 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – I-15 NB/SB, Speedway to Garnet, 1 lane open nightly Sunday through Thursday.

NDOT Centennial Bowl project impacts include:

  • Ongoing – US-95 southbound exit 91, Centennial, Ann, Rancho Drive off-ramp closed periodically.
  • Ongoing – Long-term closure on Oso Blanca Road from the 215 Beltway to Deer Springs Way.
  • Ongoing – Northbound US-95 at the 215 Beltway will be reduced to two lanes.
  • Ongoing – US-95 southbound at the 215 Beltway to be reduced to three lanes.

University Center project impacts include:

  • Through 6/30 – all day – University Center northbound and southbound, Harmon to Flamingo, one lane open.

Summerlin Parkway project impacts include: 

  • Through 8/1 – Summerlin Parkway eastbound and westbound, intermittent lane and ramp closures.

Commuters should also be advised that several large events may impact traffic and cause delays.

    • CX – Centennial Hills Express

      • (NB) – Starting 5/31 at 12:01 am through Friday at 12:01 am: from westbound Flamingo after Maryland, right on Koval (Service Temp Stop after Flamingo), left on Sands (Service Temp Stop after Las Vegas), right Northbound I-15 Freeway, back on route.

      • (SB) – Starting 5/31 at 12:01 am through Friday at 12:01 am: from southbound I-15 Freeway, Exit Spring Mountain, stay Eastbound on Spring Moutain/Sands, cross Las Vegas Blvd (Service Temp Stop after Las Vegas), right on Koval, left on Flamingo, back on route.

      113 – Las Vegas Blvd North

      • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound Las Vegas Blvd, turn left onto Nellis, turn right onto Craig Rd, turn right onto Las Vegas Blvd and continue to the layover location.
      • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound Las Vegas Blvd before Bonanza, turn right on Bonanza, turn left on Main, turn left on Stewart, turn right on Las Vegas Blvd., back on route.

      202 – Flamingo

      • (WB) – Starting 5/31 at 12:01 am through Friday at 12:01 am: From Westbound Flamingo, turn right on Paradise, turn left on Desert Inn, turn left on Valley View, turn right on Flamingo, back on route.
      • (EB) – Starting 5/31 at 12:01 am through Friday at 12:01 am: From Eastbound Flamingo, turn left on Valley View, turn right on Desert Inn, turn right on Paradise, turn left on Flamingo, back on route. 

      214 – H Street/D Street

      • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound D St., after Madison, turn right onto Monroe, turn left onto C St., turn left onto Van Buren, turn right onto D St., back on regular routing.
      • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound D St., after Owens, turn left onto Van Buren, turn right onto C St., turn right onto Monroe, turn left onto D St., back on regular routing.

      221 – Cactus/Horizon Ridge/Boulder City

      • (EB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Cactus, turn left onto NB Amigo (service temp stop on NB Amigo after Cactus), turn right onto Pyle, turn right onto Maryland Parkway, turn left onto Cactus, back on regular routing.
