Drivers are encouraged to plan their commutes by checking ahead of time for traffic conditions as well as leaving earlier for their destinations.

To help you plan your travel, current detours and restrictions are posted below. This page is updated every Thursday.

The RTC gathers information weekly and publishes updates on projects that may impact your travel each Thursday.

  • Brightline Nevada

  • CC-215 Southern Beltway, Peace Way Bridge Project

    • May 5 to May 11:
      • Westbound and Eastbound Peace Way reduced to 1 lane in each direction daily from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm between Durango Drive and Chessie Court.
      • Intersection of Peace Way and Fort Apache Road reduced to 2 lanes in each direction daily from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
      • Intersection of Peace Way and Durango Drive, Durango Drive will be reduced to 2 lanes in each direction and Peace Way will be reduced to 1 lane in each direction daily from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
      • CC215 between Flamingo Road and Tropicana Avenue reduced to 3 lanes in each direction during weekday and weekend daytime hours through summer 2025.

  • CC-215, Summerlin Pkwy Interchange

    • May 4 to May 10, 24-hour lane restrictions
    • CC-215
      • Far Hills Ave to Lake Mead Blvd, one NB lane and shoulder CLOSED.
      • Lake Mead Blvd to Summerlin Pkwy, one SB lane and shoulder CLOSED.
      • Summerlin Pkwy to Far Hills, two SB lanes and shoulder CLOSED.
    • Summerlin Pkwy
      • Anasazi Dr to CC-215, one WB lane CLOSED.
      • West of CC-215, one EB lane CLOSED.
    • Ramp
      • Summerlin Pkwy WB On-Ramp to CC-215 SB, one lane and shoulder CLOSED.
      • Far Hills Ave NB On-Ramp to CC-215/Summerlin Pkwy EB, one lane and shoulder CLOSED
    • Trail
      • Far Hills to Summerlin Pkwy, pedestrian/cycle trail is detoured.

  • City of Las Vegas, Charleston-Arville Intersection, storm drain and sewer improvements

    • Through Fall 2026, on Charleston Blvd. from Arville St. to Rainbow Blvd., On Arville St. from Charleston Blvd. to Sahara Ave., and on Sahara Ave. from I-15 to Decatur Blvd.
    • Charleston Blvd. eastbound: (Storm Drain has not been started in Charleston Blvd.)
      • Traffic Merges to 1 Lane (Lane 1) from Essex Dr. to Arville St. Sewer Bypass is in the Charleston Blvd. lanes and will be therefore approximately 6-8 weeks. LVP is hoping to be done sooner.
    • Wilshire St., south of Charleston Blvd., is closed to Lytton Ave. Approx. 4 weeks remaining.
    • Alpine Pl. is closed from Brush St. to the west 150 ft. Approx. 4 weeks remaining.
    • Arville St. and Oakey Blvd. is still partially closed with 1 lane of traffic moving in all directions.  This could be ongoing for another 6 weeks.
    • Arville St. from Oakey Blvd. to Charleston Blvd. is 1 lane in each direction (North and South). Only single northbound traffic on Arville St. from 720 south of Charleston Blvd. to Charleston Blvd.

  • City of Las Vegas, Lake Mead Blvd Losee Rd to Simmons St Road Improvements

    • Through Fall 2026, Lake Mead Blvd EB and WB, from Losee Rd to Revere St, minimum of one lane open in each direction at all times.
    • Lake Mead: Losee to MLK
      • One lane in each direction
      • Signals have been phased to accommodate
      • Expected to remain in this configuration for the foreseeable future as undergrounds, signals, sidewalks and driveways are still being worked.
    • Lake Mead: MLK to Simmons
      • One lane in each direction
      • Signals have been phased to accommodate
      • Expected to remain in this configuration for the next few weeks as undergrounds, signals, sidewalks and driveways are still being worked.
      • Milling and roadway work expected to start at the end of this Month
    • Martin Luther King Jr.
      • Roadway reduced to 2 lanes in each direction
      • Intermittent reductions to one lane north or south depending on work
      • Signal has been phased to accommodate.
      • Victor Way entrance from Lake Mead is closed for a new cross gutter, sidewalk, and ramps. This work will be wrapped up next week.

103 – Decatur

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound Jones Blvd. after Severance Ln., turn left onto Elkhorn Rd., turn right onto Decatur Blvd., continue south across Deer Springs Way, back on regular routing.

206 – Charleston

  • (EB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound Shadow Ln. after Wellness Way, turn right onto Pinto Ln., turn left onto Martin L. King Blvd., turn right onto Bonneville Ave., back on regular routing.
  • (WB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From westbound Bonneville Ave. after Grand Central Pkwy., turn left onto Martin L. King Blvd., turn right onto Pinto Ln., turn left onto Shadow Ln., back on regular routing.

207 – Alta/Stewart

  • (EB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Alta Dr. after Rancho Dr., continue east across Tonopah Dr., continue east across Martin L King Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (WB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From westbound Bonneville Ave. after Grand Central Pkwy., continue west across Martin L King Blvd., continue west across Tonopah Dr., back on regular routing.

209 – Vegas/Owens

  • (WB) – Daily detour, Monday-Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day: From westbound Owens Ave. after Las Vegas Blvd., turn left onto Main St., turn right onto Washington Ave., turn right onto H St., turn left onto Owens Ave., back on regular routing.

217 – Warm Springs/Lake Mead Pkwy.

  • (WB) – Daily detour, Monday-Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day: From southbound Dean Martin Dr. after the TA truck stop, continue south across Blue Diamond Dr., turn left onto Shelbourne Ave./Silverton Village Dr., turn right at the third stop sign, turn right onto Dean Martin Dr., continue north across Shelbourne Ave./Silverton Village Dr., back on regular routing.

221 – Cactus/Horizon Ridge/Boulder City

  • (WB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Paradise Hills Dr. after Compassion St., turn left onto Nevada State Dr., continue north on Nevada State Dr. across Conestoga Way, back on regular routing.

BHX – Boulder Hwy Express

  • B – (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Paradise Hills Dr. after Compassion St., turn left onto Nevada State Dr., continue north on Nevada State Dr. across Conestoga Way, back on regular routing.
  • B – (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Paradise Hills Dr. after Compassion St., turn left onto Nevada State Dr., continue north on Nevada State Dr. across Conestoga Way, service the temporary layover bus stop on northbound Nevada State Dr. before Lana Ridge Ave., back on regular routing.

CX – Centennial Express

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound Oso Blanca Rd. after Durango Dr., continue north across Farm Rd., turn left onto Gilcrease Ave., turn right onto Tee Pee Ln., turn left onto Grand Teton Dr., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From eastbound Grand Teton Dr. after Grand Canyon Dr., turn right onto Tee Pee Ln., turn left onto Gilcrease Ave., turn right onto Fort Apache Rd., turn left onto Severence Ln., turn right onto Oso Blanca Rd., back on regular routing.

Deuce on the Strip

  • (NB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From northbound Las Vegas Blvd. after Oakey Blvd., veer left onto 4th St. (do not enter the transit/bus lane), continue north on 4th St., turn left onto Charleston Blvd., turn right onto Casino Center Blvd., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – 24-hour detour until further notice: From southbound Casino Center after Coolidge, turn left onto Charleston Blvd., turn right onto Las Vegas Blvd., back on regular routing after crossing 4th Street.

The Eagles Concert Egress at The Sphere

Detours in effect on Friday and Saturday, April 4th, & 5th, from 10:15 p.m. – 11:30 a.m. (approx.), each night

Route 119 – Simmons/Koval

  • (NB) – From northbound Koval Ln. after Tompkins Ave., turn right onto Flamingo Rd., turn left onto Paradise Rd., turn left onto Sands Ave./Twain Ave., cross over Koval Ln., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – From eastbound Sands Ave. after Las Vegas Blvd., cross over Koval Ln., turn right onto Paradise Rd., turn right onto Flamingo Rd., turn left onto Koval Ln., back on regular routing.

The Revel Marathon

Route 220 – Ann/Tropical

  • (EB) – From southbound Hualapai way. after Dorrell Ln., turn left onto East CC-215., Exit Durango Dr., turn left onto Durango Ln., turn right onto Deer Springs way., back on regular routing.
  • (WB) – From westbound Deer Springs way. before Durango Dr., turn left onto Durango Dr., turn right onto West CC-215., Exit Hualapai way., turn right onto Hualapai way., cross over Deer Springs way., back on regular routing.

Route CX – Centennial Express

  • (NB) – From northbound Grand Montecito after Ace., turn left onto Oso Blanca Rd., right onto Durango Dr., turn left onto US-95 North., Exit Skye Canyon Park Dr., turn left onto Skye Canyon Park Dr., back on regular routing.
  • (SB) – From westbound Skye Canyon Park Dr. after Grand Canyon Dr., turn right onto Skye Village Rd., turn right onto Grand Canyon Dr., turn Left onto Skye Canyon Park Dr., turn right ontoUS-95 South, Exit Durango Dr., turn right onto Durango Dr. turn left onto Oso Blanca Rd., back on regular routing.
