City of Las Vegas, Lake Mead Blvd Losee Rd to Simmons St Road Improvements
- Through Fall 2026, Lake Mead Blvd EB and WB, from Losee Rd to Revere St, minimum of one lane open in each direction at all times.
- Lake Mead: Losee to MLK
- One lane in each direction primarily.
- Signals have been phased to accommodate
- Expected to remain in this configuration for the foreseeable future as undergrounds, signals, sidewalks and driveways are still being worked.
- This configuration will remain in place through at least August.

- Expect traffic reconfiguration in the next 2-3 weeks as roadway removals are tentatively scheduled. Anticipated configuration is all traffic to the center for roadway removals on the outside lanes from Simmons to MLK when milling starts.

- Intermittent reductions to one lane north or south depending on work

- The contractor has been doing all they can to minimize traffic frustrations for the travelling public. The contractor has made it a point to open lanes when the work allows.
- There is an increased focus on areas by the schools and community centers to re-establish as much of the pedestrian routes prior to school starting.

- Traffic Restrictions for the week of Aug 24th
- Expect the following traffic impacts between 9pm-6am nightly from Sunday night to Friday morning:

- Lane restrictions on Paseo Verde Pkwy and northbound St. Rose Pkwy
- Rose Pkwy bike trail closed on St. Rose Pkwy between Coronado Center Dr. and Paseo Verde Pkwy

- Surface grinding
- As crews continue surface grinding on westbound 215, there will be overnight ramp closures. On August 17-24, watch for closures of on- and off-ramps in the westbound direction between Stephanie St and Green Valley Pkwy.
- Message boards will be placed on the impacted ramps at least two days prior to a closure. Ramp closures will also be updated daily on the project website (henderson215.com) and shared with Waze

Maryland Pkwy Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project
- Maryland Pkwy, Russell Rd to Tropicana Ave, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. One lane open in each direction during the day. Two lanes open in each direction at night.
- Maryland Pkwy, Tropicana Ave to Flamingo Rd, Beginning 08/04, 2 lanes open in each direction between 5AM – 1PM.
- Maryland Pkwy, Flamingo Rd to Desert Inn Rd, Work hours 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. Two lane open NB during the day. One lane open NB at night.
- Maryland Pkwy, Desert Inn Rd to Sahara Ave, Work hours 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. Two lanes open in each direction during the day. One lane open in each direction at night.
- Maryland Pkwy, from Sahara Ave to Franklin, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. One lane open in each direction.
- Oakey Blvd at Maryland Pkwy, Weeks of Aug 25 and Sept 1st. Intermittent closures at intersection.
- Maryland Pkwy/Rue 13, from Charleston Blvd to Carson Ave, one lane open in each direction from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Carson Ave, 13th St to Casino Center Blvd, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. One lane open in each direction.
- Bonneville Ave, Casino Center Blvd to MLK Blvd, Work hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. One lane open westbound, two lanes open Eastbound. Through end of August, Main to 1st is Open to eastbound traffic only. Westbound traffic detoured.
- Alta Dr between MLK Blvd to Tonopah Dr, one lane open in each direction between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm.
- Tonopah Dr, between Alta Dr and Wellness Way, open to northbound traffic only between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm.
- Wellness Way between Tonopah Dr and Shadow Ln, open to eastbound traffic only between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm.
- Aug 20 and Aug 21, paving will be southbound Maryland Parkway, between Hacienda Ave and Russell Rd. One lane open in each direction during the Day. Two lanes open in each direction during the night.
